Nickel basis

Nickel-based alloys contain - as the name suggests - a high proportion of nickel. Overall, they are characterized by strong corrosion resistance and great reliability at extremely high and low temperatures. In particular, the so-called superalloys, such as our Alloy 718, reliably withstand temperatures of up to 700°C and are therefore suitable for use under extreme conditions; for example in aircraft construction, power generation or oil and gas production.

Titanium

The light metal titanium is one of the most precious raw materials on earth and at the same time a true miracle weapon in steel production. Titanium alloys have a lower density than stainless steel and are therefore much lighter. Titanium materials are therefore used wherever the loads are particularly high and every gram counts at the same time. For example in space travel, the construction of skyscrapers or the manufacture of professional sports equipment.

Inox

Inox, also known colloquially as stainless steel, is highly resistant to corrosion and high temperatures. In its manufacture, we achieve these properties primarily through an alloy with chromium and other alloy elements such as nickel and molybdenum. Due to its high resilience and long service life, we encounter stainless steel everywhere: from household items such as pots and cutlery to medical equipment and use in the chemical industry.

Tooling steel

Tool steel is - the name says it all - used to manufacture tools and molded parts. However, tool steel is not always the same as tool steel. Depending on the intended use, its different properties must be selected and adapted exactly. Decisive for the perfect values of hardness or toughness are not only different alloys, but also different heat treatments in the course of the manufacturing process.

Alloyed engineering steel

Structural steel, along with reinforcing steel, is one of the most frequently used types of steel in the world. In contrast to common structural steel, engineering steel is characterized by its low content of impurities such as phosphorus and sulfur, which not only makes it more durable, but also makes it easier to process. Engineering steel is used wherever extraordinary properties of the material, such as extreme heat resistance, are more important, but rather an excellent price/performance ratio; for example in the automotive industry, in construction or in mechanical and plant engineering.
