It is said that there are actually people who do not like to read; not even when it comes to such exciting and informative texts as we regularly present them to you in our WE know-how.
This article is therefore exclusively about numbers - informative numbers, impressive numbers, important numbers, all of which have to do with our rolling mills - and is therefore explicitly aimed at all those who don't like to read out there.

We wish you a lot of fun!

18,000 tons of steel…

... are scheduled by our customers every year. So a good 50 tons a day. With an average density of 7.87 g/cm3, that's around 2,290 m3 of steel in total, which is pretty much the equivalent of a full Olympic swimming pool.

Over 400 different materials...

...are processed by us in this way. We cover all important steels from tool steel to alloyed high-grade structural steels to special steels for the aerospace industry.

35,000 hot-rolled products…

...are still in our portfolio. If we also add our drawn and cold-rolled steels and the numerous special profiles for our customers, this number would probably be more than double.

35 export countries

...are on our delivery list. With a total of 195 countries recognized by the United Nations, this corresponds to about every fifth country on the globe. When you travel, chances are good that you will come across our materials - for example in the turbines of your holiday plane, in the technology of your hotel pool or perhaps as a driver on the local golf course.

13 foreign representations…

...at the same time ensure that your personal contact person is always available during your usual business hours and takes care of all important matters for you, from A for registering the import tax to Z for payment in your national currency.

Over 1,000 regular customers...

...are regularly supplied by us. The longest route that our steels cover on their way around the world is probably the trip from Sauerland to Seattle on the Northwest coast of America.

3.51 out of 4 stars…

…the rolling mills Einsal receive from their customers in terms of satisfaction. Of course, we don't rest on our laurels, but work every day to move towards the perfect 4-star rating.

Less than 1000 kilometers...

…is at the same time the distance to most of our suppliers. Because even if our customers are spread all over the world, environmentally friendly delivery routes, trusting cooperation and the promotion of the local economy are at the top of our agenda.

100 percent green electricity...

…keeps our systems running. Because: Our electricity mix comes entirely from renewable energies. We even produce 25 percent of the energy we use ourselves in our own hydroelectric power plant.

25,316 tons of CO2 savings...

...we have been able to book for ourselves in the last ten years. By way of comparison, a mid-size car would have to cover a distance of around 1.7 million kilometers to release the same amount of greenhouse gas – i.e. twice to the moon and back again.

Almost 300 employees...

...work for the rolling mills in Einsal. So we are in illustrious company. Because of the 3.3 million companies in Germany, just 16,675 employ more than 250 people.

9,600 slices of pizza…

...are also on our credit side. We've eaten them for the past 12 months. Because remember: A happy rolling miller is the best rolling miller - and what makes you happier than a freshly baked pizza?

19.8 years of service…

...our colleagues achieve on average and are thus well above the industry average of 12 years. This is of course because the Lenne in the Sauerland is so beautiful - but maybe also because of our well-founded training, our jobs with future prospects and the numerous leisure activities for our employees.

6 sheep, 5 goats and 9 bee colonies...

...are at home on our factory premises. That makes a total of half a million WE animals. But before you are tempted to send us a request: unfortunately we eat the honey ourselves.

88,000 cups of coffee…

...are consumed by our workforce every year. According to Adam Riese, the coffee pots that are common in the Sauerland make an impressive 22,000 liters of coffee. The above-mentioned Olympic swimming pool would only be filled about a tenth, but it is still enough for a good 150 bathtubs.

Almost 350 years...

…rolling mill history come together in all of this. Because as early as 1675, with the construction of the Helbecker Hammer hammer mill, metal processing moved to the Lennetal and thus laid the foundation for the Einsal rolling mill. Unfortunately, how much experience, expertise and know-how have accumulated over this long period of time cannot be expressed as a number - but if so, it would be damn big.
